Securing Loads Open Vehicle (N16 / U03)

Transporting with open vehicles knows many aspects. Different loads like static, rolling, long, wide, high and heavy loads are seen on the road daily in many different capacities.

A driver in open or exceptional transport should possesses great expertise and always pay extra attention to loading, tugging, anchoring and blocking loads. Also, he must take into account all possible demands like width, length, marking, demands of manufacturers, machine owners, inspection services and of course limitations of his vehicle and tugging tools.

Securing loads is important, for it prevents loads to move or roll so it can be transported safely and without damage.

Securing loads and anchoring again after part of loads are already unloaded is also a point of attention. For example, partial loads of multiple pieces, meant for different adresses, like mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, units etc.
